Serves 24 - Time Required - 45 minutes

3/4 cup of self-raising flour
1/4 cup of cocoa powder
1 cup of brown sugar-firmly packed
1 cup of cornflakes
1 cup of desiccated coconut
180g of butter- melted and cooled
chocolate icing (see step 4)

1. Preheat the oven to a moderate 180C. Lightly grease and line the base of a shallow 20x30CM (base measuremnt) baking pan.

2. Sift the flour and cocoa into a bowl and add the sugar,cornflakes and coconut. Mkae a well in the centre and add the butter, mix well,then press the mixture into the base of the pan. Bake for 25 minutes.

3. Spread with icing while still warm and decorate with halved glace cherries (or not lol) . Allow icing to set before cutting into squares and storing.

4.To make the chocolate icing- Sift 1 cup of icing sugar and 1 TBspn of cocoa powder into a bowl, add 1-2 TBspn of warm milk and stir until combined. Spread over slice.
