now those particular mowers make a brilliant job of cutting lawns.

infact...the best lawns i have ever seen have all been cut by that sort and the no engine model.

yep, I agree ... You don't need a catcher either cos the clippings come out fresher, don't clump and don't attract flies

that is a self propelled masport reel mower, very fine piece of equipment.
have used one but never owned a specimen

the main thing is that the blades trim 'upwards', lifting the grass. the standard mowers tend to cut then push the grass over.

they need sharpening every time they go blunt 

I don't know how much it costs because they have never gone blunt

rideons are cool fun.

i was mowing the local school with one..it was awesome! had a hydraulic blade level thing..a roller, a brush for picking up the cuttings & chucking em into a huge catcher.

was a bit thirsty tho...but then again it covered a lot of ground fast.

meh!

it's cause there's no flies on Southlanders.

besides...i've been to every hot spot in NZ & this pace gets as hot as anywhere...it also gets farken cold....but anyway...meh!
