   yep, they are field mushrooms...we have been eating them for a couple of weeks.

I have so many now, they have come up all over the place with the light rain and warm weather...that I am going to make a big pot of cream of mushroom soup for dinner

we have had a mass of mushrooms in the front lawn (haven't had them before so must be the weather) so I am forever mowing over then or digging/cutting them out as I don't know what kind they are and am worried about one of the kids eating them.

they are similar in colour to then ones in the pic..... I only know the ones you can get from the vege stores or supermarket
