I don't know about that. All they have to do is JV with google and they're back in the running

What's JV???

I doubt Google would do anything with Microsoft tho, their slogan is "Don't be evil" and probably directed at Microsoft ... Google are big supporters of Opensource as well, Microsoft against it ... They're pretty much opposites of each other in fact

I seriously do think they will start losing business tho, apart from the big corporates that think paying a lot for their software means quality ... Linux is easier and faster to install than windows now, installation of software easier, faster overall and more secure ... Windows just has more software written for it is all, but that's changing

JV=joint venture

well yahoo google and youtube are already partnering so you could be write about that, but microsoft still have the distribution channels and a lot of people will stick with what they know

interesting about vista
when i bought a new lappy last year i had to hunt to find one with xp as there was no way i was getting vista. apart from not knowing how well it would perform i wasn't prepared to pay to upgrade my other software so it would be compatible

bill gates already has his money and his plans to spend it on charity so i guess he's happy?

yeah, I guess ... you can say a lot about Microsoft and their business practices, but you can't fault BG on the money he gives to charity, apparently he gives more than the US government
