hope this link works. 'Buy 6 bottles...get 6 free'

The Ngtarawa Syrah looks interesting, and one of their winemakers is Alwyn Corban.

Think I would want to track down and try a bottle though, before buying a case

Mmmm yum

I'm not much of a red drinker...had a shocker hang over in my 20's from too much red

But, I love a glass of very good red when out. If I am having a steak.

I do have a bottle of Merlot sitting by the stove now...next to the apple juice which is simmering with lemon and oragne peel, cloves, cinnamon sticks and other 'mulling spices'

Committee meeting tonight

i find that if you watch the countdown adverts they often have very good wine at half price.

their unlabeled wine is also good. expecially if you buy the premium selection or whatever it is called. reserve???

Great if you live in the 99% of New Zealand which aren't a 'dry' area

if you keep your eyes peeled there is often half price wine. i always snap up a case when that happens which lasts until the next special!

also those cleanskin wines without labels are damn good value. i've had the reserve chardonnay and cab sauv and both excellent
