I'd never done this till recently and already I've learned a few lessons eek

Actually I'm pretty pissed off cause I've NEVER spent this much on shoes before in my life ($90 for 3 pairs) and so far two pair don't fit - still waiting for the third pair to arrive

Sooooooooooooo my lessons

ALWAYS ask for confirmation of colour
ALWAYS increase the inside measurement by 1cm to allow for socks/stockings and seller mis-measurements
ALWAYS ask for width of shoe eek

Any other tips I need to know?

You want to buy some size 7.5 genuine leather black ankle boots for $50 + p&p?

http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=165432924

Oh and they aren't IMMACULATE either

Gonna relist them with a proper description and hope that I can get most of my money back. Also bought sneakers listed as size 7.5 with correct foot measurements and they're about 2 sizes too small for me eek For the life of me, I can't understand that.

I wouldn't touch No 1 Shoe thingamy house

unless you don't want a lot of wear from your shoes, I have a girlfriend who buys her boots each season there. They always look tacky and don't last well.

Do they even sell anything which has leather on it?

no they have nothing with leather on ffs

The shoes I bought inip today are leather.

The quality has improved alot in the last year or so! I have a number of shoes form there, and my favourite pair of boots are from there...I love them (the boots) and they dont look tacky funnily enough. In fact, at work I have had a lot of comments about what a cool pair of boots they are from corporate type peeps who can afford the good stuff.

But I dont go there for the cost....I go there to see if they have what I want. Whichever shop has the shoe i am looking for at the time, is the one that gets my business.

I wont shop a number 1 either and avoid brands on here which i know are theres as well.

They have like a million pairs of shoes in tyhere shop and i lok and look in the beginning and went well i dont see even 1 i want to try on.

There is a shoe shop in Dunedin  called Frames footwear and to be honest its the best shoe shop ive ever seen, huge selection of mens womans and kids shoes.

There isnt even anything like it up here that ive seen so far either.

Well I have finally done it - one shelf is done and I took out 7 pairs that I don't need and put them on trade me.

I have some weird styles that is for sure, you can tell I buy without thinking (well I use too - I am so much better now).

And 5 pairs have been put aside for a charity.

They range in sizes as I have got it wrong sometimes when I order online from overseas - so from 6 to 8.  Mostly 7.5's as that is my size.
