Help me find a dress to wear to sisters wedding!

I like vintage 50's or 60's dresses but am open to anything.

I really wanna wear the below shoes though so maybe a dress that goes with them would be good. Although I will wear other shoes if I have to.

Dress needs to be able to have a jacket or cardi to match coz it will still be fairly cool.

Thanks in advance. Might chuck some chocky fishies out to any helpers.

What about something like this - you just need to team it with say a black skirt.  The top is the wow factor.

Thinking about this dress with the shoes above.

I was gonna wear a bright dress with blackshoes and cardi, but perhaps this with a bright coloured cardi??? Any colour ideaS?

I have asked a question about whether it willfitme or be easy to make alterations coz the measurements are a bit big but I reallylikethe dress. Though will get my sister toadd strapsas I dont dostrapless.

Is itOK fora wedding? less than 4 weeks to go

I think it is lovely for a wedding but throw some colour in, say with necklace and shoes or maybe the handbag.  Rather than a cardi, what about a wrap.  You can get lovely sheer wraps for over the shoulder in amazing colours.  It does not even need to be sheer.  So that would keep you warm.

If it is too big it is very easy to adjust down a size - a dressmaker will be able to just run in the seams where it is too big.  It won't take long.  Any alteration place will be able to do this.

hmmmI cant do colour on the shoes, coz I really want those black ones.

I dont really do wraps, I am a cardi girl.

But putting those aside, what colour would you wear with a charcoaldressand black shoes?

Will def look into necklace and colourful cardi or something. but am notsure what colour wouldmatch.

I would love coloured shoes but I want to get the black ones coz they will go with other stuff and i can wear them to work.

Black shoes will be fab with it but yes more colour, not a black cardi as well.

What is your fav colour - what looks best on you and makes you feel fab?  That is a good starting point as any colour will go with black/charcoal.   A coloured belt might cut you in half so not sure about that.

See if it were me, I would be going for an electric blue or a lime green but I love those colours - not everyone's cup of tea.
