she's always talked in a funny way  eek

from what I saw on tv, it all looks pretty frumpy.

I think famous people don't like to be forgotten, which is why when they have s**teloads of money, they still do ads for face creams and hair dye

My mother checked Rachael's line out the other day and eek at the price. Bloody silly really when they're put next to $30 and $40 dollar items that look so much nicer

I think the Warehouse is trying to amp up their image - putting well known names against product ranges.

Not so long ago they did the home and living (decor etc) with those two designers.  They have their name against certain products; again the price range goes from nice and cheap to a bit more out there.  Now they are trying the fashion side with Rachel Hunter.

If you associate a name with their product range it takes away from their cheap china product image.

for me, I see it the other way round when I walk in their shop - if a brand is in there then its more likely to be 'cheap and nasty' than upmarket

like when they got in that first range of kitchen appliances *name escapes me* I thought it brought the rep down of the brand, not pushed the rep of the store up, if you know what I mean.

yea the accent is atrocious thats what happens when you mix a kiwi accent with other countries - you sound slike a twat.

She wanted to go into the warehouse to make it affordable. She didnt design the clothes but was involved in the process and puther name to it. I read her interview in the womans day

Ahh well, that makes sense dab, that she didn't design them

I was wondering about that

As she also has a swimwear / bikini range. which she did in fact have a hand in designing.

And some of the bikinis are stunning.

I nannied for her and Rod for awhile when they were on one of their trips back with Renee. They were such a neat family.
Shame it didn't work out.
