the pump went clunky clunky clunky.
had to empty it into the bucket, then pull out the pump.
impeller was spinning on the shaft, so not pumping. easy fix huh?

not bloody likely    i pulled the thing apart, and took it to the only people in town who service samsung, and asked for a replacement impeller assembly.
sorry, you have to buy the whole pump, they dont sell parts!!  despite the fact that the pump is made and desiged to disassemble into its component parts.
so the samsung agent insist that samsung parts are realy expensive, but they can get them in though. they can supply a westinghouse pump that will fit onto the old samsung housing. cost... about $120
a samsung part.. about $200
so they will make enquiries to check price and availability, if they are available it should take about three days to get one in. don't they know it's christmas next week???   eek
bugger that i thought, so regressing to my formative years as a boy repairer, i thought nothing to lose, so i jimmied and i wiggled and got the impeller off the shaft. cleaned it up, got out the trusty waterproof contact glue.
all back together and working again...for now
see how long the fixit works eh?  just like i was shown when i was a lad, only buy the new bit if the old bit is totally f**ked.
third lot of washing on and still working
