So I bought one of them slow cooker things and have used it over the past few weeks for cassaroles, chickens, legs of lamb an they be tasting mighty fine

but when its not in use it sits on top of the fridge, and when the fridge starts up to chill down the lid of the slow cooker rattles.... So I investatgated.... the lid does not seal around the top of the pot.

Should it?

If it has seals, it should probably seal, if it doesn't have seals, it probably won't seal

I wanna get a slow cooker too

It not have seals stu, although I thought about tryin Otters (how long you rekon theyd take)

Seriously though its a six liter oval one an the lid just does not fit well at all so it be lettin a fair bit of heat out, as well as rattlin when the fridge starts up.

definatly worth while gettin one as there Ideal for Stews too

if it sealed you would have to call it a pressure cooker instead... and that is not slow.
