Just read this in a physcology report of the Pakeha nervous sytem    "...Pakeha are usually unaware of how bad they appear to other cultures, or how disliked. Often they seem rude, cold and ill-mannered. One reason for this is the Pakeha habit to insult people. It's usually meant in a joking, friendly way, but it looks unpleasant and disrespectful to Asians and Polynesians and is downright distressing when they themselves are on the receiving end, which is ironic. They usually respond in this insulting manner when they feel insecure or threatened by someone, especially someone of another culture..."

I swear to god i just finished reading this part, how weird to find an example of this insecurity here immediatly

that joke came from a maori/tongan living in rotorua
