nicely done JJ, they look great! I recognise a few but what are they? (A tolerant Pinky you have there too, hubby would have a fit if I plonked plants on the kitchen bench but then I do have sheds.) and in a sandy soil - making compost out of your grass clippings and newspapers and household scraps (and whatever animal manure you can get is a great way to fix that slight problem.) Raven - flog some sand from the river or better still get pumice and also more soil (or compost) - lift its level above the rest of the area and hey presto you will have an awesome patch as well. That is so cool and who cares if it is tidy or not - as long as the fruit and veges that come along taste damn fine then you are on to a winner. I have done nothing yet. I will plant the seeds this weekend...yeap I will...I promise. did you? I've got more seedlings to plant out - I got lazy, bought them - went to the cheapest place we have around here about half the price of the garden centres and the likes of mitre 10 but still nearly died at what the price added up to. They have doubled in price over the last year and I'm way to stingey to accept that.
