meat of any variety and lots of it!depending on how many people youre having, for a big crowdid recomend having a spit roast, you can hire it pretty cheap and if you have hunters in the family they can get the meat,or a butcher will tell u where to get it.yum food with the bonus that you can do byo salad arrangement with guests or pre prepare the day before pasta salads ect.we had a spit roast plus a cooked cold ham,and the guests brought a plate of salads or breads for the table.then we let the men spend the day bonding over the spit.

very, the men in my family had a blast!we stuck up a tarp and put some tables together outside in the garage.coupla oil drums with holes pierced in the top outside to let light thru worked for heat (and were great 4 me to chuck smoke bombes into later on) and food and drink we did byo salad/breads and booze.i made a homemade punch, big bowl (huge!) 1 x orange juice 1x lemonade 1x white rum.plastic plates and cups and utensils(or a friend did a special thing for her sons as he was moving into his first flat so she asked guests to bring a cup and plate they didnt want back and after the party dishes were given to son for flat, clean btw!)

we hired a jukebox and gave out 3 or 4 desposable cameras to trustworthy guests to use during the night. allso best idea we had was to buy a large scrapbook of nice variety and a couple of nice pens (silver and gold) and put them out for all visitors to sign and write comments and put emailsand asked each person to put in there wat present they gave so later we could do ty letters.comments got funny as later in night
the next dat we glued all the cards in to it with a note of the present, and for the rest of my 21st year everything spcial like concert stubs, cards, funny fotos ect went into that book. even now i still read it when im sad and it cheers me up heaps.
