my sister's new rescue dog in Canada helped herself to her seedling potatoes and buried them...

My sister only realised when 5 new patches of taties started cropping up in her garden...

They're growing better than her ones

BRILLIANT!!! High 5   Very clever Dog!!!

My Spuddies in bags in the greenhouse are to the top of the bag, so have to bury them again tomorrow - and hopefully they'll be ready for Sept 21 - Spring Equinox BBQ at my place!  Will have half a cow on the BBQ, (local from down the road) and the rest sourced from my garden and unheated but still very warm greenhouse.

*hops madly from one foot to the other for all the delicious goodies from my garden - INCLUDING SPINACH!!!

know those mushrooms in a bucket that i was growing under my kitchen table?

well they've turned into triffid mushies

the size of my bread and butter plates

 eek

the mycelium has taken over even the compost topping, criss crossing it with white threads - it smells all ... fungal  ... and moist

 eek

Damn- if you were closer we could dehydrate some in the dehydrator.  Keep them aside for whenever we wanted some.

I should have got a bag of the spores for bringing back with me
