Ok so I need some help.

My mate is getting married and for their wedding gift I am painting a picture.

The background is blue and white smeary kinda thing and the detail will be 4 flowers. I want the flowers to be bright and cartoony - well not cartoony necessarily but I am not going to paint them photorealistic (mainly because I cant but also because that's not the picture I have in my mind).

There is my mate, her man and their two kids (girl and boy) I thought I would go all gay on it and each of the 4 flowers are going to be a flower that starts with the first letter of each of their names (mr byteys idea)I find it a bit gag worthy but its for her and she'll love it.

So if anyone has time or knows about flowers I could use some help in finding some great pictures and names of flowers starting with T (the man), P (my mate), D (the son) and E (the daughter).

So far I was thinking, Tulip, Poppy, Daffodil and I don't know what. I really want bright beautiful flowers.

TIA

OK so whilst at work I did a bit of googling

and I am thinking

Tulip - in tones of orange and pink, really tall on the page

Poppy - in red and black, smaller than the tulip

or

Peony, not sure about colours, maybe dark pink and light pink

Daffodil - in bright yellow and light yellow, smaller than the Poppy

Easter Lily - whte with yellow stick thingys, smalest of all.

I am not sure yet but that's where I am leaning so far

I did think about doing all the same flowers andputting their leter in the flower but I am not keen on the writing. I want t to be a bit more subtle....in fact itll be so sutle they wont get it until I tell them the names of the flwers bwhahahahahahaha and prbably not even them

Lillies have always been associated with death - they're 'the' flowers at funerals. Just letting you know before you decide on the E flower.

imo English Primrose would be the better, because that's how its normally known, otherwise the Early Crocus will just be a 'crocus' and not what you want to say in the painting ?

what I mean is you want one thats known by its common name starting with e.
