NATAL is a device attached to the XBOXy and it uses a camera to tell who you are, to recognize both features and expressions etc. You can use it to also make hand movements to operate the games and movies (a little like Tom Cruise in that sci-fi film where he operated the puter with hand movements). With that device all they have to do is program games to respond to who you are and what expressions you are making and hey presto, AI. The device is already out, sells for about $200 and attaches to XBOXy

This is pitiful. A thousand people freezing their butts off waiting to worship a rat. What a hype.

PS3 one is more like Wii, but the XBOXy one is much more advanced, in that it's not a motion capable controller (like Wii has and now PS3), but a device that sits passively and can read your face and body, making YOU the controller

Well, for gaming it's actually MORE active ... in stead of just using a controller with your hands, there will be games where you will stand there and move your whole body to walk, use sports bats and things and tools and weapons etc, and do all sorts of movie things
