I see what you mean Ftroop, it's not great, but it aint 50 knots so I'm going out!
It was supposed to go southerly on Saturday so if it does it won't be too bad here, but wait and see I guess. (Eternal optimist)

It has been crap here although the scallop boats were out this afternoon. Like you just said, the wind didnt eventuate quite as bad as expected.

Well i know I'm getting bad withdrawals, haven't been out for some time now, and with the weather the way it is, it doesn't look like I'm going to get out in the near future either. Any one else finding them selves in this predicament. Howdy Red

Hey man I know this spot only a little downwind from here, a small rectangular area for real struggles, virtually the size of a clubrooms.

Man even the smallest baits just dangled in the waters are snapped at, swallowed hook line and sinker, and talk about fight, ......    the f**kers will go for hours, sometimes days on the tiniest bit of bait!

And the real beauty is, can be fished any weather, any hour, any day!

f**king real good fun! I'll tell ya!

Actually; I think i got a nibbler right now.

Better check the rod and star drag!

Well not my best effort, but broke the drought!

Incidentally, not a single fish on bait. I had 2 straylines out and was only hit once.

Nuclear chickens were the order of the morning.

Unless of course the other two are f**king big.

But their foreheads don't look it.
