Perrish the thought of school lunches again.  One more week of freedom.

With food prices skyrocketting what on earth can we put in the kids school lunch boxes?

Many Schools now have regulations on what kids can & can NOT have in their lunches.
Iam at a loss to keep what I give to Miss muffit varied and interesting for her.

Mind you, son only EVER has vegemite and cheese sammies        Such a boring pallet

... and I personally think that schools regulating what goes in a child's lunchbox is CRAP!!

I can asure you in some areas this is what is happening.   Parents got together  & approched BOT to tell them what a bunch of ****** they were.   The  local
shop lost the School lunch contract as the kids were not allowed pies, sausage rolls etc. It was plain crazy of the BOT to try & enforce it.

I think I misworded my post.  I did actually mean "CRAP" as in it's bollocks that we have 'lunch box police'!  What a pathetic state of affairs ... Fortunately son's school was sensible

Keep it simple.  Apple or Banana, a peanut butter and jam or vegemite and lettuce sandwich.

Miss has taken to cracker biscuits with cheese or just plain vegemite,   some friut & drink bottle. She says she is to
busy meeting new class mates to think about what was put in her lunches.      Hmmmmmmmmm I wonder
how long she will keep this thought up.   I asked her about wraps & what fillings she thought would do her
so thanks to the poster for that idea .
