Like a lot of people, I was really looking forward to Duke Nukem Forever. It has the promise to be really kick ass game, but sadly, both the reviews and the videos of actual game play are shocking. There HAD been a trailer with some game play that had been released before the game came out, and on the strength of that, most of us were really excited. It seems like the only showed a couple of really good bits, like when you see a trailer for a movie and it looks great, but then you see it and realise the 1 minute trailer had all the worthwhile scenes in it. Shattered.


Here's the ING review. I usually trust this review site. The game didn't even break a 4 out of 10

Ino ino ... but there's a squillion ways it could have been redone, but redone GREAT. I wonder how people can screw up things this badly, especially where money is involved
