Another good reason to get rid of the haka, it's become pretentious.

Ali Williams got fined for breaching the line, didn't he?  They were well aware of what they were doing and still did it, so they deserve a fine IMO.

They walked up to another team doing a haka before the game began, the only breach is that of common sense - nobody was hurt or likely to get hurt, it wouldn't affect the outcome of the game, and none of the precious sponsors will be out of pocket from it, it's just another rule they've made up to make money

It's a known rule - I'm not saying I agree with it.  It didn't do any harm, but it is a rule nonetheless.  Why have the rule if they don't intend to enforce it?

This is true, it's about breeching the other teams space not about them challenging the haka. 10 mitre rule laid out from the start. But I still think it sucks.

They should ban the Haka all together.       Why should other nations have to
bow down to a bunch of rude sods poking their tongues at them.

because it's tradition, they started doing it way back when everything was black and white and they took a boat to go on a tour in the northern hemisphere.
it's sort of expected now.
although i don't know if the IRB can make rules about it without infringing on the holder of the rights to the Haka..??
