Grumpy, who do you think, out of the candidates, has got any show of getting the top job?

I don't see an obvious choice among the candidates at this stage, the situation is remarkably similar to that faced by the National party when they were last in opposition.

Faced with the fact that the public had little faith in their existing candidates, they had to source an electable face from outside of politics and turn him into a politician. I think it's led us down a very narrow path, and I think that Labour will have to follow the same course to get back into the contest.

Labour picks its leadership based on their political principles, not on the advice of image consultants. It's a good start on the road to recovery , gives the rank and file the opportunity to  engage with the public face of the party.

Out of the Two David's I think Cu*tlips will get the job.

On saying that he will get rolled after 18 months as he is not well
liked with the rank & file.

I saw them on The Nation the other day and I think c**tlips should get the job, he seems to be better leader material, despite being a :c**t:

I even sold my LABLEAD.OTHER shares on iPredict, Shearer was the Other and with all the speculation the last few weeks they've tripled in value, and they've now started dropping down again Afro

You might like to take a literacy course.

I've said how they do things now, and how I think they need to proceed if they want to get into office. Their current philosophy, while being honourable, is wasted on the electorate of New Zealand. If they have to go down the same path as National, and hide their politicians behind a camera hogging monkey in order to get back in and fix this mess up, it would be a cheapening of the process, but the end would justify the means
