Does anyone know if I can copy tunes from a friend's ipod to my PC? We don't want to f**k up her ipod and lose her tunes but we want to swap her music to my pc and share some of my music..

How do we do this??? Afro

go to your settings and make your computer allow her ipod,(manage)  then just sync it, it should then back up to your computer and you should have all her songs and crap

Thanks.
When I attached her ipod it recognised it but we were nervous we'd end up wiping it

Are you talking about settings in itune or just the global settings

when i connect my mates ipod nothing happens. i have to go to itunes and click manage, allow this computer to see ipod, you are allowed 5 computers to one ipod.

then click on the ipod, tick backup and sync. making sure all the songs she originally had on it are ticked, then click sync, take it out when you are done, check in the music tab of itunes, it should all now be on your computer.

or another way depending on your computer and ipod, plug the ipod in, go to my computer, click on the ipod icon, open it, find the music folder, then just copy all the songs you want, make a new folder on your desktop and right click in it and paste, that should copy all songs from ipod to your desktop folder.
