I have a friends birthday bbq today so in the oven is a chocolate raspberry cake which I am going to decorate with kit kats around the edge and then pebbles on the top haha.

I have to make two lots of fudge - one for the birthday boy and another for everyone else otherwise they will cry.  Plus a salad so I thought a thai cucumber one because the cucumber is from my garden.  soo cited

If the cake is a good one I will pop up the recipe tomorrow but if only ok then nahhh will try another one.  hehe

Mmmm... yum. I'm not so adventurous, made sultana loafs and banana cakes and bacon and egg pies yesterday some for my honey to take to work, he's working away at the moment so only home at the weekends - I gotta send a bit of home with him.  My kids love the sultana loaf so some made to freeze, i also bottled beetroot out of the garden yesterday looks so pretty -  Smiley

I sometimes make gingerbread loaf in the breadmaker  eek

I also used to do a lot more baking than I do now (practically zilch  ) as it seems far cheaper to buy, but checking out the prices the supermarkets charge for cakes..

Yeah it can seem like that, sometimes not worth it when you can buy it cheaper.  Ohh gingerbread yum.
