knocked it of the fence

that damn ivy from next door, that has been slowly destroying the fence for the last decade or so, has gone!

As well as setting to it a couple of times a year with the hedge trimmer, every time a the tenant moves out we hack the hell out of it from their side. The last time was when the tinny house moved out a couple of years ago and we hacked out a couple
of big trunks and set to some others with the skill saw.
This time all the old chicken wire it was growing through was ripped off and all the trunks sawed off and now there is a 4-5 stumps which will be poisoned.
 yeahhhhhhhhhhhhh  no more damn ivy!!!

just got to get hold of the landlord and get him to contribute to the fence repair

This is pitiful. A thousand people freezing their butts off waiting to worship a rat. What a hype.

could have just drilled a hole in those trunks, filled it round up and then sat back ... 10 yrs ago

but well done, this way you get much greater satisfaction out of killing it.
