so the big element on our benchtop stove wont heat up full power and keeps making a humming noise as it trys too heat up.the small one works as long as you keep it a notch under full power. this only started yesterday and im not sure why its doing it. do you think its a fuse or something simple?

could be the simmerstat, that's the most common problem with electric hobs

did it again today,heats but not full temp. so going to have to get it looked at by a brofesional ,the mates an electrician and gonna look at our garage flats lights so will get her to looksie at stove too
