not for whatever reason - if though the Minister needed something soft to land on, a fall guy, someone who could be the face to the public and endure the flogging, while the minister continued to f**k up without accountability, then I might feel a golden handshake was well deserved. If I worked directly under a National Party Member then I'd have to have my arse covered somehow, Its the National Party motto, 'cover thy arse.' Waste thy tax payers money. If I was a national party member myself then yes I'd take it no matter what because the New Zealand public are blind and stupid. But not no matter what.
