I'm thinking about getting a GPS thingy to help me with my new venture.  I don't want anything techy, hi-flying, convoluted, complicated, with extra features, etc etc.  Just something good and basic to help me get from A to B. 

Would much appreciate recommendations, experiences, etc etc.

they are all much of a muchness, just different size screens, whether or not they show little pictures
of what the road/intersection should be like and what updates you get for free. Then you can get the blutooth/hands free ones and those with other gadgety options.

they are ok, but i still prefer a real map

Are you getting from A to B on the water, the road, or in the bush?  cos the GPS's differ a little.
