Wouldn't want to drop a tool. Be buggered climbing down to retrieve it and then back up.

We all do dumbarse things sometimes...

I remember when I used to have a little farmlet, I had this old XB Falcon Ute that I used to use as a Hunting/Farm hack. I couldn't get it started one day so I rang my Brother to come down and help me tow start it with the Tractor.
I waited a while then got pissed off with waiting so I went down to the Hayshed and got the Tractor out, Turned the key on in the ute, pulled the choke out a little and put it in Second gear. My plan was that it would fire up, I would leap off the Tractor, leap into the ute and all would be good.

Well......................

My plan worked perfectly except................

The ute fired up straight away, and because I had pulled the choke out too far, it was revving at about 2000 RPM, it took off. I leapt off the Tractor and the Tractor rolled into the Fence. I took off running after the Ute which was motoring up the side of the bank on two wheels at about my fastest running speed! Somehow it made it to the top of the bank and carried on across the paddock, about another 150 yards.

I caught up with it and had my head and Shoulders in the window, and turned the Key off....................... Just as it crashed through the Neighbours fence, smashing about three posts off!

True dumbarse story!
