Going to see tonight will rate when I get back - based on the Barry Grump novel Wild pork and watercress - starring  Sam Neill and Julian Dennison my friends son. Feeling quite excited about it.

Just saw this, I thought it was pretty funny, most of the funny bits I had already seen in the shorts ... I found Boy funnier though, I think because I was Boy's age when the world was the way it was in Boy so I could relate to a lot of the humour better

Aunty Bella cracked me up, loved the birthday song.

...and the very end when Hec says I'll have your guts for garters...really took me back, to my Pappy who was an avid hunter. Loved all the bush scenery too.

That's interesting what you say about 'Boy' I didn't relate to it and was disappointed after all the hype.

Near where I am there is a tiny movie theatre /cafe
The rooms seat 18 max, in like armchair seating for pairs.
Even has cushions.

You can have them bring in your coffee for you too.
Or a meal. Though I prefer not to attempt to eat in the dark while watching a movie. It's great for having a meal and a movie evening out.

Since discovering the place, I like going to the movies again.
I keep meaning to go watch this movie, and keep forgetting.

Stu you old man, Boy was funny for me because it threw me back into my childhood too

I still know one guy called Boy.  (He's my age    it's a pity because his real name and shame on me I can't remember it, meant something really beautiful too)
