That is good to hear....I really thought you may not see it or it would be crap, so just goes to show you that I ... OMG .....was wrong.

Ohhh it was not fashion but I brought myself a holiday in Fiji over Easter, well a girlfriend of mine is getting married again, so I had to part with some cash today.

OMG I had something like that in the 80's and it was lingerie.  My how times have changed.  I hope my undies from then don't become a fashion statement.

seeing as your all such fashion professionals i need something for a fat short person uch as myself to wear to my youngest fostor sisters wedding.   I've missed every other occasion in this family cos i freaked out about not fitting in and i'd quite like to go to this one.

I always feel layers look good ..... plus feel so floaty and hide any wobble bits.  The most simple outfit that looks amazing teamed up with a fab duster type sheer jacket in a nice bright colour or even a bling type fabric can look stunning.  Say a longish black skirt and top, very simple and can be worn again and again so no wasted money by having an outfit you can only wear to weddings sitting around.

Then find an overtype flowing duster jacket in a very sheer but popping colour.  This way pick you most favourite colour and one that looks fab on you, and you instantly turn a black outfit into something else plus in this weather you will not be too hot.

Just a couple of examples for the sheet part.....but not quite the idea but enought to get you there....

http://www.trademe.co.nz/Clothing/Womenswear/Tops-shirts/Size-16/photos/a-136431615/p-51449862.htm  I like the odd flower bit on here.

http://www.trademe.co.nz/Clothing/Womenswear/Tops-shirts/Size-22-over/photos/a-136682464/p-58301028.htm  Or maybe something like this is more your style.

It is hard to help as people like so many different styles.

But please go to the wedding, no matter what.  You will find something - you will look amazing and you will have the time of your life.

Also, dress it up with fab accessories.  Smiley

that's one of the funniest auctions i've seen in a long time

not very shapely. hope you have some tits. not big ones as they wouldn't fit in that dress, but doesn't go with the flat chested look.

god now i want to look at all her other auctions. the answers are fricking hilarious. she should write a book

oh gawd did you see the auction for the pants. her description is a scream
http://www.trademe.co.nz/Clothing/Womenswear/Jeans-trousers-shorts/Size-14/auction-141978818.htm

Alright, look, look, I've owned the 10 of these, and the 14, and if anyone has the 12 release it my way, because one I couldn't shuffle in and the other is a bit windy, and either way I avoid pants in case anyone in sympathy tries to get me admitted for leg lengthening procedures.

she's so witty!

Very funny.  And even though the fabric is out there, I quite like them which is strange for me, the pants that is.

I so would love this.  I adore Kagi, her pieces are stunning and much better than the photos.

You could say I am a fan.

So - should I go for this?  I don't have a large ring that is that colour.....and I soooo love lime green.  Ok, you talked me into it - I may bid a bit more later on.

She uses real gemstones or crystals for all her stuff.  I have a couple of her rings and they still sparkle a year later and I have not given them a proper clean yet.

I don't mind with this one because I know the designer (well not personally hehe).  www.kagistyle.com  is her site

I am too tight to pay the money she wants for it but I would pay a wee bit more.

hah! i liked the ring better

i must be atypical. i have a few pieces of jewellery that i love and almost never buy any new ones. at one stage money got tight and i sold my favourite earrings. mainly because they were too expensive to wear for anything other than special occasions so they didn't get enough wear. still lust over those earrings lol

When I lived in Auckland I used to like going to the sales to buy designer clothes but i don't even do that now

and i don't buy clothes online unless i can return them because it's too hard to get a good fit if you can't try them on

jewelley just isn't a big thing for me
