...at Langham Hotel, Auckland.

A dining experience.
We had a wee bit from each of most of the eight kitchens...rock oysters ...the so-called whitebait fritters were a disappointment - more like pilelets with a few whitebait chucked in.
Desserts ...those individual portions were a good excuse to try more than one
The Langham Honey beer...couldn't taste the ginger but still smooth on the tongue.
Service couldn't be faulted.
A bit noisy but good to see it was a family-friendly place and not at all posh.

The night before we were at Di Vincis again, which faces onto the back of the Langham. We left there about 10.15pm and saw a group of about 12 giggling, gaggling teenage (and younger) girls doing their One Direction stakeout
The 2 security staff at the door looked bored s**tless.
One of my thoughts was...why were those kids out on Auckland streets at that time of night?
