Easy YouTube Video Downloader 2.1

first, for people that are sick of slow YouTube downloading, try this:

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/10137

adds a link in the YouTube page to download it, great.  You need to set a folder for it first(otherwise it saves to your desktop), just set that through the options dialog.

And if you want a decent player, try VLC Player (http://www.videolan.org/vlc/), it has versions to work on all popular operating systems.

Vacuum Places Improved 1

This defragments the Firefox history database speeding it up immensely.  My Firefox after a few weeks will take around 30-40 seconds to start, run the vacuum addon, it starts in less than a second, this is by far the most noticeable speed enhancement you can make to Firefox

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/13878

I like the sound of that! I find that firefox takes up masses of memory so I removed a lot of addons.

I use linkification which I love (think that's what it's called)

Did it make a difference?  I have it on 50, but I just do manual ones anyway once things start slowing down before the 50

yes it's been much better. some days i want to scream because it takes so long to load

i settled on an auto clean every 45 openings but the little icon makes it easy to sort if i need to
