Don't be a moron. That sort of thing has been out for over a decade. I tried some in a shop in the Bay Area in 1999. Carmack's ones are proper VR linked to the 3D mapping of the game so that where ever you turn your head, that's where you are looking in the 3D environment. Works 360 degrees :slap:

it's hardly VR, it's just 3D goggles with motion sensing.

i've played doom3 in the dark with headphones on. nothing freaks me out with games

They are releasing Doom 3D all spruced up for the new consoles. New paint, and the flashlight is built into your armour :jump:
