Title: Food Market...
Post by: bethune on Wed 6 March, 2013 - 11:48 pm
...at the Silo, Auckland wharf.

The place was buzzing...people settling down with cushions, rugs and camp chairs to watch the movie while eating up large of some of the delicious and different foods from one of the many food stalls.
I had something that was similar to fried bread - but more like a pastry - filled with feta, basil and chunky tomatoes.
Next time i'll give an oven fried pizza a go.

It's a neat place for a family night out...playground and b-ball court...a BIG connect four and jingo for kids of all ages to play with...market stalls of local and recycled crafts...there was one guy there making amazing animals out of recycled bits of old cars and motorbikes...and only one stall of cheap imported junk.

Highly recommend it as a friday night activity.
