I've never networked a Mac, but I can't imagine there being a problem

Can you run programmes between the two? Like if I set up a spreadsheet in Windows, but need to take it to a Mac comp, will it convert?

I really don't enjoy using the Mac

you can definitely network them. i worked at a company in the 80s where some people had macs and there was no problem. a lot of programs convert easily between the two systems. I'm pretty sure i've exchanged excel spreadsheets with mac users

Mac is good for a lot of graphics stuff, like the books we are doing, as the industry still uses them a lot. Some Macs will run Windows (PC) too, other times you have to convert files. Some are interchangeable (like if you save word processing files in rtf).
