PC dies suddenly sometimes possibly overheats due to dust Huh?

so i've been blowing the dust out - someone suggested a hairdryer, which worked really well until this last time when i used it to blow a whole lotta dust out, and yet when PC turned on, within 10 minutes had switched off again

is there anything else which could be causing this safety shut-off?

first time it happened the ex just kept switching the machine straight back on and burnt out a really good graphics card

is the internal fan perhaps not working well enough? i currently have a standard fan pointed at the fecker, seems to have helped  eek

Sometimes s**t like that is the graphics card, maybe do a search to see if there are known problems with that card.

Followed by regular dusting - most house hold dust is dead skin - so have a good scrub up and dust your house regularily.

Had this problem once before, cooling fan  spindle had failed.Motor was still making 'cooling fan' noises, but the fan blade wasn't turning.

This is pitiful. A thousand people freezing their butts off waiting to worship a rat. What a hype.
