earth is not home to me

« on: Sun 17 June, 2012 - 09:17 am »

found this Canadian show via you-tube and am quite enjoying it. Based in Newfoundland, its about a father and son private detective team, and I find it quite reminiscent of those 80's cop shows where every week there were car chases, fights, women, drinking.... but this doesn't have the cheesiness of an 80's show. There is something a little raw about the acting, which makes it seem more realistic, rather than polished. The accents are delightful too.

Even Russell Crowe guest stars in an episode, dressed like he wants to rumble  eek

I can hear the raven sing .... a spiritual glow envelops, medicine power develops ... as the raven sings.
