New Plymouth.

If you don't like purple.... don't go.  Purple is everywhere including the staff uniform.

We went for late lunch and it was still busy.
no waiting service, everything is ordered at the counter and delivered to the table. no problem there as service was very quick. big meals for a lunch menu and a big selection of gluten free dishes. these aren't GF options for other meals they are GF meals. no extra charged for GF which is nice to see for a change.
pricing is on the upper end of average for a cafe, but the size of the meals are bigger than average too.
worth a try, even it is all purple!

actually that entire thread is about the cost of eggs I think    and how you could make it at home for 45 cents or something...

as someone pointed out, the eggs and bacon at that place are organic freerange etc...  and I know the owner pays her staff well and cares about the environment...

If people are happy for their wait staff to earn minimum wage and eat battery farmed eggs and bacon then they'll eat cheaper...
